Simulations of bi-quad filters in various formats
Biquad filters are widely used in the audio industry because they can either amplify or attenuate certain frequency components into a signal.
A practical application of the biquad filter is in parametric equalizers, where the filter behavior is specified using the parameters: centre frequency, gain/attenuation and bandwidth.
We have designed biquad filters that meet certain specifications.
The filters were simulated independently and in combination with each other.
Finally we’ve prepared a representation of the designed filters in multiple formats (signal flow-chart, Z-Plane diagram, etc.)
Final delivery included Matlab codes together with detailed report with algorithms and results that were generated.
